Whiteout announced for Oregon-Penn State showdown as 6 Ducks game times revealed

As we inch closer to the start of the 2025 college football season, details about the games in the first half of the schedule are starting to be released.

On Thursday, the Oregon Ducks announced the kickoff times for the first six games on their calendar, the most notable of which has to do with their Week 5 matchup against the Penn State Nittany Lions in Beaver Stadium. That game will reportedly kick off at 4:30 p.m. PT on NBC, and the Nittany Lions announced that it will be a whiteout in Happy Valley.

In all of college football, the white-out atmosphere for Penn State games is among the most beloved traditions. They don’t deploy it for every home game, but in the biggest matchups, generally at night, the stadium with 106,000-plus capacity lights up with white shirts in a beautiful spectacle.

The Ducks also announced kickoff times and TV partners for the following games:

Week 1 vs. Montana State — 1 p.m. PT on Big Ten Network
Week 2 vs. Oklahoma State — 12:30 p.m. PT on CBS
Week 3 at Northwestern — 9 a.m. PT on FOX
Week 5 at Penn State — 4:30 p.m. PT on NBC
Week 8 at Rutgers — 3:30-4 p.m. PT (Network TBD)
Week 12 vs. Minnesota — 6 p.m. PT on FOX
