Where Oregon Football stands in Joel Klatt’s post-spring top 25

The spring season is now behind us in college football, which means ranking season is officially here.

We dove headfirst over the weekend with our rankings of the best and worst helmets in the Big Ten Conference, but elsewhere, more important rankings are being released. Notably, Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt came out with his post-spring top-25 rankings on Monday, looking at how he sees the balance of power for the new season ahead.

While Klatt’s rankings aren’t meaningful in the end when it comes to Associate Press rankings or coaches polls, but they do give us a good sense of what to expect going forward. It just so happens that Klatt is very high on the Oregon Ducks this year as well, despite a massive roster turnover that will net new starters at just about every major position on the roster.

Here’s how Klatt’s top 25 shakes out:

Penn State Nittany Lions
Texas Longhorns
Ohio State Buckeyes
Oregon Ducks
Clemson Tigers
Notre Dame Fighting Irish
LSU Tigers
Georgia Bulldogs
Alabama Crimson Tide
Illinois Fighting Illini
South Carolina Gamecocks
Michigan Wolverines
Florida Gators
BYU Cougars
Arizona State Sun Devils
Kansas State Cougars
Iowa State Cyclones
Miami Hurricanes
Texas A&M Aggies
Ole Miss Rebels
Indiana Hoosiers
Auburn Tigers
Iowa Hawkeyes
Baylor Bears
Oklahoma Sooners
