Seahawks vs. Cowboys: Coach Shares One Secret to ‘TNF’ Victory

Starting for coach Mike McCarthy’s team, the Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks square off in the first of five straight games at AT&T Stadium against teams with winning records. The Seahawks have more than enough weapons on both sides of the ball to give Dallas problems,

even though they are currently on a two-game losing streak and are coming off a disappointing performance against the San Francisco 49ers. McCarthy’s top priority when facing this Seattle defense is to keep the ball safe. McCarthy remarked, “They do an excellent job of taking the ball away.”

“We have to remove the ball ourselves and safeguard it at all costs. We are aware of the style of defensive football they enjoy playing. We consider this to be McCarthy is correct; Dak Prescott needs to be alert when facing the Seahawks’ explosive secondary because they have forced a turnover in seven of their previous eight games (12 overall).

Despite not having allowed a rusher to gain 100 yards this season, 8-3 Dallas does occasionally give up ground; in their last four games, they have given up more than 100 yards in total. Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet, who both average more than four yards per carry this season.

“It’ll start with our run defense being challenged, when they line up with the ball,” McCarthy stated. “I believe that both teams are really proud of the way we play. We anticipate that this football match will be very physically demanding and intense.”
