Now: Who is Mike Elko’s Wife Michelle Elko?

Amazing Triumph! After falling behind 17-7 in the second half of an intensely contested game between two fierce SEC rivals, No. 14 A&M pulled off an incredible comeback to overcome the 8th-ranked LSU 38-23. Elko needed a spark after the offense appeared to be lacking, so the coach called in QB Marcel Reed, who scored three touchdowns for the Aggies in the second half. Thanks to the spark, Mike’s coaching effectiveness cannot be disputed. Furthermore, the woman who has constantly accompanied Mike to this position. His wife, indeed.

Michelle Elko, the head coach’s wife, grew up in Franklinville, New Jersey. She played baseball for the University of Richmond. Her interest in sports is common with her husband. But how did she meet Mike? Well, Mike was an undergraduate and Michelle was a freshman at Penn State when they first met. After that, they began dating, however; it is unknown when exactly they did so. Then, in 2001, they moved to USMMA after getting married. At the time, Mike was in charge of the USMMA defense, and Michelle was a nurse who worked with children. Since then, Mike Elko’s coaching career has taken the family on many adventures at many places.

In 2023, this couple returned to College Station with their three kids, Kaitlyn, Andrew, and Michael. Between 2018 and 2021, however, this family lived in Texas. They fell in love with Texas A&M right away. During an interview, she stated, ” We’re home. We loved it when we were here.. never in our wildest dreams did we think we’d be back here so soon, but we wanted to be here, and when we got that call.. we were all in.” In addition, she stated, “A family’s dream come true, so proud of Mike and our family.. thankful for everyone who believed in us because my husband’s picture is up there and we’re here.”
