NBA’s Precious Achiuwa Gives Rivers Hoopers Basketball Court Facelift

NBA’s Precious Achiuwa has embarked on the renovation and upgrading of the Indoor Basketball Court in Port Harcourt, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

 

The Rivers Hoopers home court located at 59, Niger Street, Port Harcourt was renovated by Achiuwa, who is known for his humanitarian deeds, especially by hosting Sports and Life Skills Camp for Over 1000 Kids in Nigeria. The champions of the 2023 Nigeria Premier Basketball League hailed Achiuwa for his commitment to the growth of basketball in Nigeria. “We would like to say a big thank you to Precious Achiuwa for giving our court a face lift. “This gesture would help develop the game of basketball in Rivers State, creating a conducive environment for the next generation of players.” Also, General Manager of Rivers Hoopers, Ifie Ozaka, expressed gratitude to Achiuwa for the rehabilitation work. He said: “Precious Achiuwa has been consistent in the last couple of years in his giving back to grassroot development of basketball in Rivers State and for that I commend him. “RiversHoopers is grateful to him as a beneficiary of his magnanimous gesture.” Recall that the Kings Men defeated Cape Town Tigers of South Africa to finish third at this year’s BAL in Kigali, RThe 2024-25 NBA season could be special for the New York Knicks.
