Junior Lance Heard enters his second season at Tennessee in 2025 after transferring from LSU.
The 6-foot-6, 330-pound offensive lineman has appeared in 23 games during his collegiate career, 12 at LSU and 11 with the Vols, including 12 starts.
Ahead of Tennessee’s season opener versus Syracuse on Aug. 30, Vols Wire looks at Heard’s production in SEC games at left tackle in 2024.
Heard underwent a minor knee procedure last summer ahead of the 2024 season. After returning in September, he also dealt with an ankle sprain. Heard did not play in Tennessee’s SEC-opening win at Oklahoma in Week 4.
After an open date in Week 5, he returned in Week 6 at Arkansas and played all 64 offensive snaps.
