Elite CB target sets commitment date, FSU in top four

Florida State is looking to keep its recruiting momentum going after a banner month of June when they snagged 12 commitments. Four-star defensive lineman Earnest Rankins and three tight end Connor Winn have already committed this month, and one more could be on the way in the form of four-star cornerback Lasiah Jackson.

The Seminoles made an offer to Jackson in January. Eight days later, he attended their Junior Day event. Jackson also took an unofficial visit for FSU’s Legacy Weekend in March, and he proclaimed that Florida State was his top school.

“To be quite honest, FSU is probably my top school right now,” said Jackson via Noles247. “Just with how today went and what the future could possibly bring and where my head is at now – I really love Tallahassee.”

Jackson was back on campus on June 13. That trip came in between visits to see the Stanford Cardinal and the Alabama Crimson Tide. Speaking of Stanford, they got a crystal ball prediction to land Jackson at the end of June. So, it’s up in the air at this point.

The 6-foot-3, 175-pounder is ranked No. 122 overall and he’s the No. 13 cornerback. He’s also the No. 17 prospect from the state of Georgia.

Florida State already has four-star cornerback Timmons committed for the 2026 cycle, and four-star Chauncey Kennon is projected to pledge to the program on Sunday. Could Jackson follow suit? We shall see.
