BREAKING: Just In Auburn Tigers Has Agreed Deal For Experienced Linebacker With South Alabama œ

Auburn might need to find a replacement for linebackers Cam Riley and Wesley Steiner, who left for other teams. They’re eyeing South Alabama’s Khalil Jacobs as a potential addition, who’s been getting attention from teams across the country after entering the transfer portal twice.

Jacobs, a 3-star player from Niceville, Florida, stands at 6-2 and weighs 218 pounds. He had a good season last year at South Alabama, with 56 tackles, three sacks, and 8.5 tackles for loss, along with three forced fumbles.

Auburn’s linebacking corps still has Eugene Asante and Austin Keys, along with Dorian Mausi from Duke. Robert Woodyard is also there for his third year, but after him, it’s mainly freshmen Demarcus Riddick and D.J. Barber.

Jacobs is planning to visit Auburn and also Tuscaloosa soon. Alabama might have an edge in recruiting him because their defensive coordinator used to coach at South Alabama, making them a formidable competitor.
