BREAKING NEWS: Paul Hegarty Contract Situations resolved and sealed

Paul Hegarty has been appointed as assistant manager to boss Ruaidhri Higgins at League of Ireland Premier Division side Derry City.
Hegarty succeeds Paddy McLaughlin, whose departure from the club was confirmed earlier this week.
Hegarty has previously been assistant to both Stephen Kenny and Declan Devine at the Candystripes and also had a spell as caretaker boss at the club.
Derry begin their new league campaign against Drogheda United next Friday.
The 56-year-old was part of the Derry City side that won the treble in 1989 and of the squad that lifted the top flight title in 1997.
“I’m delighted to be back and I’m fairly sure everybody knows what this club means to me,” Hegarty told the Derry City FC website after his appointment.
“I’m here to do whatever I can to help Ruaidhri and the players and it’s a challenge I’m really looking forward to.”
Higgins commented: “I’m delighted to be working with Paul and he’ll bring a wealth of experience to our group.
“I know from previous experience that he brings an unbelievable work ethic and knowledge of this league and its players.
