BREAKING: Nebreska Coach Matt Rhule steps down with immediate effect…..more

The installation of four stop signs at the junction of 7th St. and High School St. was unanimously approved by the Kimball City Council.
Mayor John Morrison stated during the meeting on June 18 that locals had asked for stop signs at that particular crossing. There will be more traffic in the vicinity of the new Clean Harbors apartments, thus a four-way stop will be helpful in preventing accidents.
Just adding a two-way stop and choosing which street to place it on was the topic of dispute at first. Because there aren’t stop signs at the moment, drivers on High School Place are supposed to yield to those on 7th Street, but locals claim that doesn’t always happen. Barb Evensen and Stephanie Risk-McElroy, who reside on High School Street, expressed their worries about reckless driving.
