Notre Dame is really a part of the ACC – at least, it dabbles with the conference.
UConn is a true independent, and come next year, Oregon State and Washington State will be part of a true league of teams instead of the sad two-team Pac-12.
These four schools dictated their own schedules, so it’s their fault if things are a tad harder than necessary.

Last year we sort of got Notre Dame right. Of course, we didn’t predict the Northern Illinois loss, but we did think it would get to ten wins – it went 11-1 in the regular season – on the way to the College Football Playoff.
We undersold a strong UConn – but we did like it to get to a bowl game – overliked Oregon State, and was close to the pin on Washington State.
This year it’s far more difficult when it comes to the Pac-12 teams – both were gutted in areas by the portal – but Notre Dame and UConn should be close.
